THERE IS ALWAYS A PRICE TO PAY.
There is a price to pay for changing and there’s also a price to pay for staying the same. Most people are just “okay” laying on a nail. “Life sucks but MEH, why change?”
You really weren’t meant to be average. None of us were. You aren’t here to take up space. You’re here to contribute your very special gifts and talents that are exclusive to YOU and ONLY YOU.
Oil billionaire H.L. Hunt said that in America, you only needed two things to be successful.
First: Decide Exactly what it is that you want.
(MOST PEOPLE NEVER DO THAT… Have you?)
Second: Determine the price you’re going to have to pay to get it, and then resolve to pay that price.
“Get rich quick” also means “Go broke faster”. I’m not interested in the lottery mentality and you shouldn’t be either. You eventually find that your work never ends up being about the money but rather the person you become in the process.
I wouldn’t trade that for ANYTHING. I LOVE THE HUSTLE. I remember a time when I cried on my couch ALL day. I was miserable and totally BROKE in just about every way you can imagine.
I get that it’s not EASY. I know, because I’ve been there… but my prayer for YOU or that person or people you know love and care about that they will find something that will SPARK and IGNITE the fire inside.
That somehow you can GET UP and give yourself the gift of participating in your life. There’s a price to pay to step out and make some changes in your life, and there’s also a price to pay for fear, lack, sleepless nights, and telling your kids/spouse/family NO to things they want and the lifestyle they deserve.
Please consider this a lifeline. Change? It is well worth the price you’ll pay, in fact it ends up paying you in ways you never ever imagined were possible.
Love,
ღCJ
