A Lesson on Getting What You Want
————————————–
Living a life built on “I should” or “I’m supposed to” is TRAGIC. Even worse is a life that says I WISH I WOULD HAVE (insert whatever you did not do HERE).
I desire to feel unburdened and free, so I am now choosing to trust myself and ASK for what I want. The biggest lesson for me wasn‘t in asking OTHER people – it was in asking MYSELF.
What do I really want? And more eloquently… as Mary Oliver says, “What will you do with this one wild and precious life?”

– Don’t accept a NO from someone who is not in the position to tell you YES.
– NO today does not mean NO tomorrow.
– You are already at NO by not asking, so g̶r̶o̶w̶ ̶s̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶b̶a̶l̶l̶s̶ take bold action and ASK for what you want.
– The law of averages is a universal law. The more you ask, the better the odds.
– CHANGE your actions. If you really, really want something, you can’t keep doing the same things.
We get one shot, and the clock is running.
