HOLY CRAP! I’m posting my opinion on this interview below so please don’t read this post if swearing offends you because tonight I’m letting loose. I’m also sharing very personal details about my background so if you’re not into people telling the truth then keep scrolling and move on, this is not for you.
LADIES, allow me to introduce you to direct sales. You may not agree with all of the points made in this 10 minute interview, but I can tell you that being self sufficient is important. Having something that is your own is imperative to your happiness.
When you are out creating, doing things you enjoy, stirring up your gifts and passions, and making big things happen in your OWN life, you do not have time to be a bitchy shit stirrer!
Firstly when relationships become obligatory love is sure to die. You have to be with someone because you WANT to be, not because you feel like you HAVE to be. We cannot control what other people do. All of your worrying, phone checking, and ridiculous outbursts can easily be converted into prospecting, learning new skillsets, and actively building your own business.
I happen to be particularly ambitious as a female entrepreneur because of my background, my childhood, and how I was raised which by today’s standards would seem a bit rogue. You know, full of ridiculous dysfunction, I’d imagine similar to YOURS! – Am I right?
I did NOT like that my mom felt like she didn’t have options, so I knew from a young age I would set out to make something of myself to ensure that I did not EVER have to rely on ANYONE. I don’t want to rely on anyone or owe anyone anything ever.
The best advice I can give you is to start a business that is YOURS today. You can start your own home based business for $50. SERIOUSLY. Owning my own business and earning my own money has empowered me and my desire is to empower others. And you know what, I don’t have kids because I am consciously choosing not to. I reckon that maybe one day I could but truthfully I don’t feel it’s in the cards for me.
What I do realize is that there are a TON of amazing women out there who do have families, and kids to raise, and sporting events to attend, and errands to run, and how they do it I will never know. So YOU inspire ME because it isn’t fair for me to say it’s easy running a business. It’s not. I can hardly manage my life without children.
I see my sister, 2 kids, working mother, in graduate school, she’s amazing, but she loves to work because it’s empowering to her, and she’s a true professional. I’m still a hopeful optimist, I think it is possible to “have it all” and having it all probably looks like different things to different people. But I am unapologetically passionate about encourage women to cultivate their gifts and talents by directing some of their energy into a business they can call their own.
It’s no fun depending on anyone. Not a man, not our parents, not our friends. I want to invite you into our family, one where we encourage one another to pursue their passions and their dreams. If it’s important you’ll find the time, if not you’ll find an excuse.
Today is the day to change your life. The days turn into weeks, the weeks turn into months, the months turn into years. Living YOUR very best life is unique to you and only you can decide in this very moment the path you’ll choose to take.
What I want for myself I want for everyone. I want to see more women craft a body they love, run a business they love, and live a life filled with passion, – on their own terms of course!
Love,
ღ Cassiah
